OUR HISTORY

In 2002, Pastor Darrell Blackwell of the First Pentecostal Church of Vichy, MO began some Bible studies with Dixon area families. After about two years, Pastor Blackwell decided it was time for this growing group to have a shepherd of their own. Through prayer and Divine guidance, Rev. Robert E. Hohman, Sr., of St. Louis came to accept the task of pastoring the newly-formed First Pentecostal Church of Dixon.

In September of 2004, the church became an autonomous work, and in November of that year was granted Home Missions status with the Missouri District United Pentecostal Church. Just as Bro. Blackwell had envisioned, the church is growing and moving forward!
